TYPES OF TRANSPORTATION AVAILABLE TO CAMPUS

Public transportation available, the Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority(EMTA,814-452-3515), and Cab Company (814-455-4441). Also Greyhound bus connections are available to and from Erie. Call Greyhound 800-231-2222. The bus station is approximately 15 minutes from campus. US Air and Northwest Airlines serve the Erie International Airport. It is approximately 40 minutes from campus.


DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS TO CAMPUS

From Pittsburgh: Take I-279 North to I-79 North. Follow I-79 North to I-90 East. Continue on I-90 East to Exit 32 (Wesleyville) and follow Route 430 West for about one mile. The campus is located on the left (approximately 2 1/2 hours from downtown Pittsburgh.). From Cleveland: Take I-90 East into Pennsylvania to Exit 32 (Wesleyville) and follow Route 430 West for about one mile. The campus is located on the left (approximately 2 hours from downtown Cleveland). From Buffalo and Rochester: Take I-90 West into Pennsylvania to Exit 32 (Wesleyville) and follow Route 430 for about one mile. The campus is located on the left (approximately 1 1/2 hours from downtown Buffalo). From New York City and Northern New Jersey: There are two routes: cross George Washington Bridge to I-80 West across New Jersey and most of Pennsylvania to I-79 North. Take I-79 North to I-90 East. Take I-90 East to Exit 32 (Wesleyville). Follow Route 430 West for one mile and the campus is on the left. Or, follow I-80 West to I-380. Take I-380 around Scranton to I-81 North. Follow I-81 North to Route 86 (also called the Southern Tier Expressway). Take Route 17 West across southern New York to its end in Pennsylvanial. Take I-90 West to Exit 32 (Wesleyville). Follow Route 430 West for one mile. The campus is on the left (approximately 8 hours from George Washington Bridge). From Philadelphia and Central New Jersey: There are two routes: take the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, which intersects with I-276 north of Philadelphia, to I-80 West. Follow I-80 West across most of Pennsylvania to I-79. Follow I-79 North to I-90 East. Take I-90 East to Exit 32 (Wesleyville). Follow Route 430 West for one mile and the campus is on the left. Or, take the Pennsylvania Turnpike West (I-276 to I-76), leave the turnpike at Exit 19 (Harrisburg East) and follow I-283 to I-83 North. When I-83 ends, take I-81 South to Routes 22 and 322 West. Follow Route 322 West to Route 970 North (Woodland). Take Route 970 North for about 2 miles to I-80. Follow I-80 West to I-79 North. Take I-79 North to I-90 East. Continue on I-90 East to Exit 32 (Wesleyville). Follow Route 430 West for one mile and the campus is on the left (approximatley 4 hours from State College).

Accommodations close to campus located at exit 27 off of I-90: Days Inn (814-868-8521) offers transportation services to, and from airport and complimentary continental breakfast; Best Western Erie (814-864-1812) offers complimentary continental breakfast; Red Roof Inn (814-868-5246); Quality/Super 8 (814-864-9200) offers complimentary continental breakfast.
