Since its founding, Point Park has been known for providing its students with an education that combines the liberal arts with career education. While some of the programs of study are those traditionally found in the liberal arts and sciences, others reflect the cultural, business and industrial needs of the community. Emphasizing career preparation within a broad educational context, these programs enhance the prospects of graduates seeking professional positions in today’s highly competitive job market.
Point Park offers bachelor’s and associate’s degrees in a number of majors, including accounting, applied history, arts management, behavioral sciences, biological sciences, business management, children’s theater, criminal justice, dance, digital and cinema arts, education (early childhood, elementary and secondary), engineering technology (civil, electrical and mechanical), English, environmental protection science, human resources management, information technology, intelligence and national security, journalism and mass communications, political science, psychology, public administration, sport, arts & entertainment management and theater arts.
The University has earned national distinction in a number of fields, including dance, theater, journalism and mass communication, and sport, arts and entertainment management.

At the third light, make a left onto Boulevard of The Allies. Remain on the Boulevard of the Allies until you come to the intersection of Wood Street and Boulevard of the Allies.
