The University of Montevallo is only a 40 minute drive from the Birmingham International Airport.


DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS TO CAMPUS

From interstate 65 take exit 234. Turn left off exit ramp onto HWY 12. Follow HWY 12 until it dead ends. Turn right onto HWY 22. At the first traffic light turn left onto HWY 119. Follow HWY 119 to Montevallo. At the second traffic light (next to McDonald's ) turn right. Follow this road directly through UM's gates.

LOCAL ACCOMMODATIONS

Holiday Inn Express - located only 5 miles from UM's campus just off exit 231 on Interstate 65. The hotel contains 65 guest rooms each equipped with television dataport phone, and private bath. Other ammenities include, a conference room, continental breakfast, and 5 restaurants. For reservations or rate information call 205-668-3641. Hampton Inn--Hampton Inn Calera is 5 miles from The University of Montevallo, The American Village, and the city center. Hampton Inn Calera offers modern rooms with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. Facilities include an outdoor pool and a gym. The air-conditioned rooms of Calera Hampton Inn are decorated with wooden furniture and carpeted floors. All rooms have cable TV, a seating area, and tea and coffee making facilities. Every morning, guests can enjoy a hot breakfast buffet. The on-site convenience store offers light meals, snacks and beverages. Calera Hampton Inn?s reception is open 24/7.
