Plus, with 鈥減rograms specifically designed to help students 鈥� who might struggle in the college environment,鈥� you can rest assured that you鈥檒l meet faculty who are 鈥渦nderstanding,鈥� 鈥渆ngaging,鈥� and 鈥渁lways open to new ideas鈥濃�攕ome are even described as 鈥渟uper cool,鈥� which is an added bonus. Furthermore, they strive to 鈥渞eally build a connection with their students,鈥� and that鈥檚 an easy task to accomplish with the low student to faculty ratio. Still, 鈥減rofessors really push students to succeed and to recognize the potential they may not see in themselves.鈥�

Apart from the faculty, West Georgia 鈥渋s very good at presenting academic and career opportunities.鈥� Indeed, students are kept 鈥渦p-to-date on everything that's happening on campus.鈥� Overall, students say 鈥渢he academic experience at West Georgia is very rewarding for those who put forth the effort to be successful.鈥�

There鈥檚 no denying that the school offers undergraduates 鈥渁 very inclusive environment.鈥� Students proudly pronounce their peers to be 鈥渆xtremely diverse,鈥� noting that people 鈥渞arely feel out of place.鈥� Representing a breadth of political views, academic goals, and even ages, the student body has a level of 鈥渏ust all-around uniqueness.鈥� Couple that with peers who are 鈥渟ociable, interactive, and friendly,鈥� as well as 鈥渋ncredibly nice and sincere,鈥� and you鈥檒l find that 鈥渆veryone treats one another with understanding 鈥� and [acceptance] of their differences.鈥� This is all in the goal to 鈥渇eel 鈥� able to ask for help whenever it is needed.鈥� One attendee proudly proclaims, 鈥淚 have never met someone who wasn鈥檛 willing to help me when I鈥檝e needed it on campus.鈥�

Since undergrads at West Georgia take their academics pretty seriously, 鈥渁 majority of students spend their time in 鈥� the library working.鈥� However, even these dedicated scholars need a breather every now and then, which is when they flock to the 鈥渘umerous hangout spots鈥� elsewhere on campus, including the on-site Starbucks. Additionally, each academic building has a seating area, and it鈥檚 quite common to see everyone 鈥渃hatting it up in between classes.鈥� For sports fans, 鈥渢he athletics department is stellar鈥� and intramurals are 鈥渧ery popular 鈥� and very competitive.鈥� Low-key, outdoor activities are also recommended by students, given that the 鈥渃ampus is beautiful.鈥� Bike rides are appealing, there鈥檚 a lovely nearby lake, and some students like to just go for a walk. If none of those suit your fancy, students also mention playing video games and going to plays put on by the theater department. In short, there are plenty of ways to keep 鈥渟chool life 鈥� very interesting and exciting.鈥�
